During the year 2008, the following main tasks were achieved:

• The proof reading of Jonas Basanavičius Folklore Library (vol. 5-7) was accomplished.
• 1300 folklore texts were transferred into the Lithuanian Cultural Heritage Information System Aruodai, checked over and approved (vol. 5-7).
• The concept of the Jonas Basanavičius Folklore Library website www.knygadvaris.lt was created. 
• Website www.knygadvaris.lt programming, accomplished, the interface to IS Aruodai was created. 
• LieTa’s administration zone was created.
• Information about Jonas Basanavičius and Jonas Basanavičius Folklore Library for website www.knygadvaris.lt was prepared and integrated into the website.
• The general search of the Folklore Library texts was created and launched.
• 1-4 vols. of Jonas Basanavičius Folklore Library were digitalized, their pages edited and integrated into the website www.knygadvaris.lt 
• The Personalities Database was supplemented with biographical data of 353 personalities. 
• The Vocabulary of Keywords was supplemented with 4500 of textual entries.
